If driven under the best conditions, the engine oil life system may not indicate the need for vehicle service for up to a year. The engine oil and filter must be changed at least once every 12 months and the oil life system must be reset. If the engine oil life system is reset accidentally, service the vehicle within 3,000 miles (5,000 km) since the last service.] OIL LIFE MONITOR – RESET – [Reset the system at every oil and filter change. If the system is ever reset accidentally, the oil must be changed at 3,000 miles since the last oil change. To reset the Engine Oil Life System: Scroll through the DIC Info Pages menu until the REMAINING OIL LIFE percentage is displayed.
